Our Managing Director, Gavin Fernandes, commenting on the changes said:

It is shocking that Companies House kept fees at a constant level for several years only to then hit companies with two increases in quick succession.  In particular the doubling of the incorporation fee appears excessive.  It is also interesting to see that the fee for striking off a company has decreased.  Although these will not form a large part of corporate expenditure, it is disappointing to see business having extra costs whilst the economic outlook is so fragile.

Further details on the fee changes can be found in the Companies House press release.
