Changes to Companies House fees

Changes to Companies House fees

Following the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill, Companies House will be raising their fees from 1 May 2024. The agency notes that their fees are set on a cost recovery basis, meaning that the new fees will be brought in line with the costs of providing the service and that there is no profit on these fees.

Some of the key fees that have been affected are:

Old fee

New fee

Confirmation statement

£13

£34

Voluntary strike off (DS01)

£10

£33

Administrative restoration

£100

£468

In order to mitigate the effect to you as much as possible, we will now be treating Companies House fees as disbursements and will therefore request that fees are paid directly into our MG Group client account shortly before they are due to be paid. We will then make the payments to Companies House on behalf of our clients who use our filing service.
